A Poem by Clare Ashbury

You organize me in untameable decisions
Damning me to go on to make the mistakes
I am fate
While you are disaster
You think of me naive and unwitty
The one that you threw away
Drugged and unwanting
I was your pill for the day
Harshness from your outstretched hand
And unmoving gestures
You can make me fall inlove again
With just the pill sliding down my throat
I'm your little w***e
Unnerved by the title
Undone by the way you rape me to the core
I feel your hands upon me so sly
You are the snake in adam and eve's forbidden garden
How i want to slay you, to watch you rot and die
Maybe in a life time past or present or future is will all happen
But for now i am just me under your hand
Blood does trickle from the corner of my lip
Swollen i look pretty with un-plastic surgery tips
How you make me want to die
In moments such as this
Please i ask you do not touch me
For a rash begins to drift
My tummy is rising and falling
You grind against me like you butcher meat
And all i ever want is for the purring of my cat to put me into sleep
Vodka is my drink, to doze from the pain and torment
I hate you
Debate against me that this is all just wrong
Make me into your little slave doll
Again and again
We hit the sheets
Blood splatter linens in the public wash machine
Everyone just stares
Knowing that the red is mine
The pink water is pretty
Spottless again the sheets to flow over the mattress
Bleach does wonders
Then once more you grab at me
Probe me with your alien stick
You make me sick
I demand that i am human
But you make me a rag
I just want to be away
But then i know you'll never let me come back
I want you to go away
Away from my days
I want my life back
But for the wasted time
I know i'll never get back
I hate you
I do
Its done, me and you.
