Dream od questions

Dream od questions

A Poem by Clare Ashbury

What if I had you against the wall?
Looking into your eyes
Letting your mind race with what I might be wondering

What oh darling would you do if I put my moist lips to your ear
Whisper inside you and tell you the fantasies
The fantasies I have of you and me

What sweetheart would you do if I kissed your neck?
Kissed your neck as I spoke of what I wanted to do to you
What might you do when I let one palm slide down the side of you?
Would you moan or push me away.

What might you do when my kisses become deeper?
When my lips surround yours
I wonder whose tongue would enter first

What might you do when my body pushes into you?
When I can’t help myself and I tell you I want you
Will you let me proceed or will you tease me?

Then sweetie what might you do when you know you can’t resist me
When you know you actually want me and care
What will you do then?

What will you do when you moan out my name just once?
When everything is fabulous and great
When the seduction in my eyes is more then lust

What will you do when you want so honestly to say the three forbidden words?
What will you do when your mouth opens and my tongue silence you?
What will you do then when you are a slave to my kiss?

Then when I touch you, and you moan your feverish words
Then when you have burst into sweet lullabies of Adoration
Then when you look into my eyes and say the three forbidden words “I love you”
I disappear.

Will you wake up in a cold sweat, breathing in and out harshly?
Will you remember it was only a dream?
A sense of emptiness traces through your veins and body
And in the end will you think it was a good dream or a nightmare.

Will you then know how it feels…?
How it feels to be left, to be left after you spoke of love
Will you then know the feeling of heartbreak?
Yet that was only a dream
Not in total reality
So how does it feel to have just a trace of what you did to me?

In the end
Was it a good dream or a nightmare?
Because my darling…mine was a nightmare.
