Moments....

This is a different type of piece for me... Taken from my journals Certain defining moments that i chose to put into words

Every moment we spend I cherish

But those moments seem to be slowly slipping away.

What if we were only meant to be for just a  moment

Instead of always

You promised me forever

But I only see today

Promised to never abandon me

But what if you can’t stay

My love for you

a dream come true

Can’t let it end this way

So I will hold on tight

And fight the demons that threaten to tare us apart

We can’t give up on each other

Because I don’t think I can recover from another broken heart ***

What you mean to me

I can't put into words
So much passion with every touch
stimulating every nerve

You set my body on fire.

Making me the object of your desire
suffocating heat washing over every inch of me
consuming my heart and revealing

Emotions that I’ve never felt 

Understanding that we are meant to be

Because we fell in love so easily

You’re so accepting of me

And I’m devoted to you completely

You’ve changed my life

So now I’m ready to give you my all

But are you ready to make me your wife?

Alot of emotions flows in this poem, but it's still beautiful and flows like a breath of fresh air.
