Quite Okay

Quite Okay

A Chapter by damien anthony

I was feeling broken, beaten
Without my own direction
When you came into my life
Under unusual circumstance
Thrown together with no reason
A magnetic charge between us
You said that you’d protect me
From what all I’m not quite sure

If we face the end of the world
That’s quite okay
If we face the end of the day
That’s quite okay

I’m not quite sure how long you are here
Or what the universe has in mind
I won’t meddle or alter its plans - It’s all really quite okay

There’s part of me that knows you well
And we share the same bruises
I think you’ve been here before
What brings you back down this road again?

If we face the end of the world
That’s quite okay
If we face the end of the day
That’s quite okay

I believe I’m here for you too
To help you keep going forward
And not the circle you run
You’re too good for all of this

If we face the end of the world
That’s quite okay
If we face the end of the day
That’s quite okay

Who know why things are the way they are
All I know is who I am inside
That’s illuminated by your light - It’s all really quite okay
