liasion

A Poem by jamie mae

Previous Version
This is a previous version of liasion.

days and hours pitifully drag by in utter futility
life follows body in a constantly vanus state
mind is spinng wrecklessly, full to the brim
pouring out, 'tis feeble to control the thoughts
i love, i feel, i swear i do;
i regret more than you;
alas, contrition cannot cease in-the-moment desire
    and i know i will not stop, dear
oh, i am on a fast track, heading the wrong way
but i am infallibly delighted by every coy pass
try as you may to hold me down, keep me grounded
    i have always loved flying, though.
