Who Am I, Mister?

Who Am I, Mister?

A Poem by conceited_cats

Indignant men have told me
Too many times
That I am not who they believed me to be
For me to ignore
So I question
Am I the person I thought I was?
And then I realise
They mean passive
They believed me to be passive
Door mattish
I’m ever so sorry I step on your ego
The depth of your feelings of inadequacy is massive
....
And then I’m glad they got it wrong
