Our Human Race

Our Human Race

A Poem by The Last Philospher

Not there yet
Not enough to last
A tougher challenge
A bigger obstacle
Run to catch up
Get punished for starting late
Someday you might make it
A presence none can ignore
Others nearly made it
Only legacy to leave behind
"Work till you drop"
A motivational poster says
As you run till it hurts
Unsure if you'll ever finish
In that infinite loop
forevermore
