Fragile/Free

Fragile/Free

A Poem by Constance-Outspoken
"

From an Image Born, Image Five.

"

Beneath a new sun, she emerges
basking in the light, free from
the obscurity of her dense cocoon
to find herself merely crawling upon
a dusty path, narrowed by boulders
impatiently waiting til appendages dry

Above, cerulean sky is an allusion
to the purpose of her existence
and now that she sees the horizon
every fiber of her being yearns
to cast her beauty upon the wind
bravely spreading fragile wings to fly

Such a positive flow and your words are like a self motivational speech... fly high my friend and show the world they can't keep a good woman down.
