simple words like 

you're sweet 

turned into a catastrophe 

this empty feeling 

feels familiar to me 

this time 

thanking god 

for protecting me 

showing me 

what i cannot see 

s***s bitter sweet

they say the truth

will set you free 

searching for the signs 

why things came to be

twenty nineteen  

made a fool out of me 

but again 

here i am 

landing on two feet 

the feels 

reassuring words

don't worry you'll heal 

but some days

reality doesn't seem real 

So now

I clear my canvas 

with my tears 

creating 

just to feel

Yes, when we are immersed in the pain, we cannot see any benefits...but we learn more about ourselves, love and life...and later can look back and see the upsides...and know we are wiser.

I haven't been able to post any of my new poems that I've created, so i really appreciate you reviewing this. I absolutely agree with you though and amongst all the pain we do come out wiser in the end.
