You know me

i'm closer than you think.

you acknowledge me all the time

but deep inside

you think that i've forgotten you.

i haven't.

i know you and i never leave you.

if you think about it

you've already known it several times.

- felt my breath down your neck

when you for a moment lost the balance

at the top of the stairs.

in the seconds your hands accidentally

lost the grip of the steering wheel

on the highway.

and in the cold relief when you

remembered to blow out the candle

that were still burning in the first floor.

and you often annoy yourself.

but not after you've stopped to breathe.

never then.

that's when you all think the same thought

and it makes it hard for many of you

to carry.

"i hope they know how much i love them"

you say i'm so mysterious.

you want to know why i come to get you

and where im taking you.

well, i want to know this:

why do you often wait until it's

to late?

This is a beautiful poem C.K.
I understand this love, this longing and curiosity...I definitely felt this way before- as to why someone would feel such way for a person like me, or even stay. I love your lines,
