Let the guest in...

Let the guest in...

A Poem by cor.empire
"

unexpected visit

"

One pouring monotonous morning,
I am immersing with my daily trades.
Strikingly, I was beguiled by a wispy guest,
a fluttering creature in the window,
quivering faintly, soppy and drenched.

While sipping my coffee, I sit by my window
and listen to the rhythm of the falling rain,
this cool soul steals my circumspection,
I let myself be consumed by a moment of accompaniment.

We feast our eyes together on the unceasing rain,
Just like the sky tears that splashes off pains.
wiping away the dust of worries, and baiting us to refrain.
