Surrounded

Surrounded

A Poem by Count Humilus
"

Silence of me

"

 Surrounded by words

Words spoken by my parents

Words from my computer speakers

Words from my record player

Words from my CD player

Words from my Tape player

Words from my tenant upstairs

Words from the neighbors

Words from friends

Words from bartenders

Words from cab drivers

Words from a stranger on the street

Words about my future

Words from my dog Hendrix

Words from Grandmothers

Words from my brother

Words from my past

Words from a new city

Words from an old life

Words linger thought to what ifs?

Words from him, her and them

Words from a burning buildings soul

Words from what friends are left

Words lost in my storm

Words from my mobile

Words from my psychiatrist

Words from outside the window

Words between people

Words they think you can’t hear

Words in the air

Words from spirits

Words from my head

Words I don’t mean

Words that make me cry

Words that make you smile

Words that make me feel hate

Words that make me feel love

Words that make me take a pill,

light a joint

Words that are meaningless

In fact all words are just that but still I…

…I wait for her actions…

…Writing my silly words…
