A Poem by Count Humilus
"

Silence of me

"

Slamming my fist at the future

Focusing on a fake flame

Balancing my shame

Maybe to you each moment was a game?

Yelling at the path

Breadcrumb backtracking my past

Racing as hard I can to make this last

Losing control of staying a flight to my enevitable crash

I am figuring out if I am the only one to blame?

Losing you makes me feel used

I needed something a little more tame

With our communication I breathe in our focus and aim

I never imagined it this way… My heart a cripple, heart broken and lame

Am I to never imagine another heart filling up my own?

Surrounding myself with what is healthy, there is no shame.

I’d like to meet myself with you in the middle of the ocean, blink of an eye fast

I spy you from my monocular at the very top of my minds mast

I can’t imagine losing you, I’d rather take a gun to my head and blast

I love you and am not sure how this will truly go

I just want it to last
