Siren Song

Siren Song

A Poem by Count Humilus
"

Silence of me

"

She sings out from her rock

Waves crashing

Demoliting anything

Any ship

In it’s past

A beautiful song

An enchanting voice

The sound makes me follow this path

On the steepest hill

In the middle of the ocean

My ship escapes my controls

The wind at my back

Swirling the sound of her voice in the mist

A blustery day I take solace in

A vindictive wind holding hands with the current does not shine in the sun for very long

Fortnight pensiveness

Conclusions leads her back peddling to resolutions

I have already broke free of this siren song in my mind

But in truth my heart is still headed straight for the rocks where she resides
