He Who Shall Not Be Named

He Who Shall Not Be Named

A Poem by Shannon Math
"

For people who know me, you might know who "He" is. If you don't guess. :)

"
He who shall not be named.
He was cute, caring, sensitive, and very very shy.
I thought he was perfect for me...
But boy was I wrong.

He who shall not be named.
Had flaws.
Like he has the past as current thoughts.
He won't forgive easily.
He fights about itty bitty little things...
Like: Why I don't defend him? Why do I defend the other person?
Blah Blah Blah!

He who shall not be named.
Has a new girlfriend.
I get this surge of jealousy when I see them together.
My heart breaks.
I hold back the tears of what could have been.

He who shall not be named.
Had a sister who liked me a lot.
His cousins did, too.
I loved them like they were my own family.
He still bullies them.
They complain to me and I say, "Beat him up then. All of you knock him down and jump on his back! And stay there 'til he suff--Uh...Never mind."

He who shall not be named.
Is a coward.
He couldn't say to my face, "We're over and done with."
Had my best friend's ex-bf do it for him.
That's only because he has no balls.
Thought I cheated on him with his best friend.
I tried, but didn't succeed, so I stayed with him.
I loved him like he was my first love...
Which he was.

He who shall not be named.
Was not perfect.
Had flaws and no balls.
But was only one more broken heart closer 'til I find the one who is really perfect for me... <3
