"Our Lady Luna"

"Our Lady Luna"

A Poem by Logan D.

Lying in bed

Staring out the window

At the stars

All I see is one hundred million what ifs

The biggest one of all

Our fair lady Luna

Patroness of the restless

In the light she hides

Only shows her face in the dark of night

What if I could speak with her?

Touch her?

What would she say?

What would she do?

She’d probably say

There are millions of fools just like you

Their heads in the heavens

Day dreaming of the night sky
