In 2001 when your album "Make Yourself" was released, I had just moved back to Florida. I was spending a lot of time soul searching and reflecting on the painful divorce and separation from my children that I had just endured. I barely survived the pain of it all- barely came out alive.
As I began really listening to your music, I was absolutely blown away by the lyrics. And I mean to EVERY SINGLE SONG. It seemed like you guys were holding up an x-ray mirror exposing the contents of my heart, mind, body, and soul- then writing down and recording everything you saw there inside of me.
Being an aspiring writer myself, I'm not sure if I could ever metamorphasize thoughts into words the way that you do. From my perspective you are (without a doubt) among the very best lyricists in rock and roll history! Your talent has been an ASTRONOMICAL inspiration to me-- you really have no idea. Thank you for your music. It expedited the healing process in me and made me realize I am not alone in this world. That there are others sharing my same perception of reality. Please do not ever stop creating art that heals!

Now that I've seen you up close and personal (front row- thanks for the guitar pick, Mike) I'm even more in love w/ ur talent and message and convinced that it heals souls and inspires many. What a truly spiritual experience an Incubus concert is. I've never seen so many grown men cry.**
