Origin of Fire

Origin of Fire

A Poem by JacobMarloe

ash flecked ember eyes
crossed out into black guise
stare out their desires
burnt in a dark wood of fires

a brush of heat to my being
it blurs my mind to true seeing
sweet kisses like a thousand pins
it opens my body to blissful sins

trepidation lost in the motion of the flame
I beckon for more of this dangerous game

its been so long
the feeling is just about gone
a fading memory has come
my soul once was numb

opening my eyes once more
its never easy they're always sore
its always bright its never dark
waking up my life is a spark
