Cream Puffs

Hi everyone, hope your having a great summer, have been out of action, but I will be back soon to read all the wonderful verses you have sent me! in the meantime, it's time to have a cream puff!

I reach for the cream puffs 

fresh fluffy, my tongue doing seductive swirling motions 

seeking the powdered sugar in all the crevices 

I split it in two and there lies the creamy treasure filling in the center

I taste the sweetness the soft cool creamy texture dances on my tongue

my tastbuds stand up in exaltation

I bow in gratitude as the softness of the cream moves smoothly down my larynx 

causing my endorphins to feel warm and fuzzy 

All that remains is the doughy outer shell 

 I devour it with one sweeping motion 

 the slighty chewy salty buttery texture slides down my throat

I move in for the second and third

I know I shouldn't be doing this but ....

I can't stop the sweet and salty combination is irresistible 

does this mean I'm addicted to cream puffs?

they did send Uncle Tom to AA for swigging bourbon all day! 

somewhere in the distance I hear a familiar voice 

what did you do ? 

yikes caught in the act 

Murphy get down!! 

licking the last remnants of sugar off my whiskers I glance at the empty plate 

a few lonely crumbs huddled together in the corner 

time to do my sorry a*s droopy eyelid thing 

maybe I can grab those last crumbs before the plate goes into the dishwasher!

I know I have been abasent for a while, and I that I am now getting finally getting back into writing; but this piece of yours is TREMENDOUS. It takes such skill and imagination to create pieces like this, and to make the me feel that I was the dog whilst reading this take immense talent. You have it by the bucket loads. pretty good. been quite hot & humid up here. was at the beach swimming last evening before the sunset - water was great.
