Never Ending Argument

I thought that the arguing would end, or at least be kept at bay

I hoped that things with us would turn out a different way

But nothing seems to change, it's still how it used to be

Is there more in store for us, happier times for you and me?

The fighting pains me deeply, leaving scars that may not heal

But I don't think you even know, just how that makes me feel

The anger fuels the fire, only makes our words more vile

How shocking it would be if we stopped this for a while

I hope that this never ending argument doesn't hide my love for you

We just never get along, that much was always true

I think this is a very passionate poem and i can see deep down this is hurting you from your comments about the vicious circle of love and others only wanting to see a reaction to this torment which you are going through right now, i would never make my girl unhappy it would be dying wish to serve and protect her from everyone and everything for eternity.
