Your silent pain was ominous

your silent pain escaped all of us

how could we not know this?

 

Your duteous behavior never left us

we were paralyzed with the pain that

you were leaving us.

 

Though your eyes did express

your pain and fear we couldn’t

believe this.

 

Your silent pain did not hinder

your courageousness though

we had so much planned for us.

 

Your cancer was ferocious

but your precious love was

always with us.

 

You showed your loyalty through

and through this will forever

be remembered by us.
