Colors

Colors

A Poem by depressedindisguise
"

Raw feelings caught on the page

"

Black and white used to be such a simple thing

I craved the simplicity

But when my world became all black and white

All I wanted was color again

All of my emotions, happiness, anger, even love

Were all in a mute , colorless tone

Sadness was a constant, dreary grey

As time went on, I grew more and more anxious

Would I ever see it again?

The beautiful blues

The ravenous reds

God even the grotesque greens

I would do anything to see one, any, color again

To really FEEL something

One more time
