Loving You

Loving You

A Poem by depressedindisguise
"

Is it fear or true bravery that lets us take the leap?

"

Loving you is ecstasy and blinding pain

Its being pushed away and then loved to my core

Its quick and sudden like the flick of a light switch

Hitting me unexpectedly like a jab in the gut

When we talk I feel awake, truly alive

Like the feeling at the top of a roller coaster

The rush of knowing you are about to fall

And not knowing what is waiting for you at the bottom

For I don’t know where the road goes for us

But I can’t pull myself away

For you are the magnet that draws me

Into a sea of blinding emotions
