Sanctuary

Music is sanctuary.

Is that music I hear

It clicks its glorious tune

Overwhelming it is

A sanctuary for the dark

It is another home

A place for me to go

And escape darkness

By finding the light of its melody

It is a sweet gift

A pure sense of art

Music fills my every moment

Until I am fulfilled

It needs no addition

It, within itself is purpose

I love it like a friend

And cherish it like life itself.
