If only

I wrote this a while back.

 

                     

 

If only we could I could return to those days

Those days in kinder garden where everyone didn’t judge people by their races

If only I could return to those days where everybody can greet people

With happy and carefree smiles on their faces

 

If only we didn’t have any fights

And we didn’t have any people living in the streets

If only there were no people starving

And arguments over small things

 

And if only love was like a fairytale

Where there is always a happy ending

If only I could see you smile

Every morning

 

If only I could have protected you

When you needed me

If only I could have accompanied you --yeah

When you were lonely

 

If only I could have stood up for you

When you were bullied

If only I was there

To be your knight in shining armor

 

If only I hadn’t been so scared

Then you wouldn’t have fell in love with him ------would you?---------

You would have been with me

But now that’s impossible
