Punishment

Punishment

A Poem by Suavis_Umbra
"

An ocean of dust- and within there- a key.

"
I need no punishment for that which is there,
Lunar globes set themselves around me;
Rivers of stars kneeling for my plea,
An ocean of dust- and within there- a key.
I know that I need no punishment for that which is there,
to harvest a heart becoming so - rare.
To - tear me of clothes and leave me bare
For created creation to sleep in a lair.
I know- punishment is there.
Where , us, who decide and kill,
Us,who through your spine we bring a chill,
Us,who flow emotions into your quill,
And us who erode into your soul-
A punishing rill.
