Losing

Losing

A Poem by Kitten

I sit here and watch.
As lose family member after family member.
To their own hands.
It makes me wonder.
When it will be my turn.
It really is a thought on my mind.
Nearly everyday.
When will my suicide come?
Whether is be now.
Here in the next few years.
Or when I'm old and feel I have nothing left to live for.
And can actually mean it.
It's sad to say.
Something like this runs it my family.
But it's very clear now that it truly does.

I hope you're seeking help and the company of people who sustain you. The clinical causes of suicide often do run in families; they're not always entirely environmental. They're often even a genetic inheritance. I hope your poetry helps you heal. I hope even more that you're seeking the help you must have to survive.
