Forgive me

I'm sorry I can't let people in. 

I'm sorry I don't want to show what I'm feeling. 

I've started distancing myself for a reason. 

Because if I do something. 

I don't want to hurt anyone. 

But no matter what I do. 

It will just end in me causing pain to others. 

But ending my own. 

I'm not sure which side to go with anymore. 

I'm sorry I'm a s**t person. 

I'd be better off alone. 

No matter how much that thought scares me. 

I know it's true.

I hear this song in my head when I read this, all the regret, but the recklessness. That would be a wonderful stage piece.

I know id be better off alone and its sad that its true. Sometimes i wish i could let people in but know they would judge the monsters in me and who could ever love a girl with so much darkness. Anywho , great write. Your writing is very relatable to me

Really? You know that for a fact? Or is it just your mind telling you that? I already sound so judgmental. *sigh* No, but really. It's not a fact. It's your mind telling you that you're better off alone. But if you ignore that voice, who knows where you'll go with your life? Go out of your comfort zone. It's not a time to be saying "I will when I have the courage" or any other reason to put it off. Do it now, right in this moment. Go out of your comfort zone, and let someone in on your thoughts. Being scared of being judged is a very powerful, and dare I say it, scary thing to feel! Everyone has felt that before at some point in their life. But what you need to know is, nobody will judge you if that person feels the same as you. Find your connection, and trust me when I say this, you're not the only person in this world who has felt what you're feeling right now. Take me, for example. Take the poet of this poem, for example. You can let me in to your life, if you want. Because I've through those feelings, and more. You can let anybody in, because as I said before, everyone's been through the exact feelings you're going through right now. Hope you can find somebody you trust and feel comfortable with. Jump out fo your comfort zone. Who knows where it'll land you? xxx
