I Don't Want It To Be A Dream

I feel as if I am wandering into an abyss

Something in the world is not right

Something is amiss

I hear your words as they scream to me

I hear you as if you are here

Even though we are separated by an endless sea

 

I live each and every second

Hungering for your touch

I see you in my dreams

Every night

I never want to wake up

 

Why must it be so hard?

All I see is your face when I close my eyes

Then I hear you telling me to wake up

I never want to leave the dreams

It seems that it is the only time you can be with me

 

Separated by a thousand seas

One day we can be together

And not just in our dreams.
