For My Mother

For My Mother

A Poem by Jessica Fox
"

A Mother's day poem

"

I Love You Mom

You gave birth to me

You have always been there

I know I have been a brat

Throughout the years

No matter what I have said

Or what I have done

I will always love you

No matter what

Even if we are an ocean

Or a continent apart

You will always be my mom

And always be in my heart

Even if I am grown and gone

I will still need my mom

Even after the harsh words

And all the mean things I’ve said

You’re still who I thank

For the roof over my head

Time has come and gone

And now its time I move on

But know this

No matter what

I will still love you mom

The love of a child and mom is truly special and coming from someone who lost there mom 3 years ago, I am deeply touched by this.
