Absolution?

Absolution?

A Poem by Lita Raquel

An uneasy assurnace

Isn't always so bad.

Sometimes it's the world

Giving you all it had.

Like a sold-out movie

That no one's even heard of-

It plays out a prediction

Personifying love.

An unexpected event

Isn't always a surprise.

Sometimes it's not coincidence

When fate's seen thru your eyes.

The starting few lines were a little hard for me to understand. Not necessarily the poem's fault. It might be just me :)

I like these lines:

"An unexpected event
Isn't always a surprise."

I did not understand this:
When fate's seen thru your eyes."

Despite the fact I did not understand half of the poem, I believe the flow is somewhat good... lyrical, mysterious even...as if there is a secret which you want to tell despite keeping it secret... Just my thoughts; am not sure if I am anywhere close to being right.

All the best!

I like this poem, it feels inspired by music and personal experience; it's deep without being obtuse, and interesting without being too precise.
