Dawning

Dawning

A Poem by 暗い雪

A night sky looms above you, emptier than a corpse.

Which moon that shines in the night reflects the light that you seek, but cannot reach?

How many nights drags onward as you reflect on what you've lost?

Will a star that is familiar will spread its wings upon the world?

Is the time that once seemed so bleak and slow now illuminated by the moon, a mere reflection?

The sun that now rises on this new day tells you that new light will reach you if you have patience.

I like the message within this piece: that good things always come if you are willing to endure the bad. Nicely done.
