Things I Should Have Said

Things I Should Have Said

A Poem by 暗い雪

My eyes see nothing but flames
The world is burning around me
My heart knows nothing but flames
Everyone dying around me

A voice shouting through darkness
A sight shining through the chaos
A feeling of which unknown
A person so pure, it was you

Memories of times gone by
I realize that I was so wrong
I hope this day will fly by
I never realized you weren't wrong

A voice shouting through darkness
A sight shining through the chaos
A feeling of which unknown
A person so pure, it was you

I stood waiting for you that day
you said sorry, it was then
I knew what to say that day
But I had no courage then

It's not finished and I know it doesn't seem to flow very well, any suggestions?

I don't have suggestions; poetry is not my forte but I sense the emotion here. The sadness and regret comes through clear as a bell. I feel lonesome and sorrowful after reading this but it fits so well with my current mood.
