Why God? 😇

Why God? 😇

A Poem by Darren K. Jackson
"

“In times of uncertainty”

"
There are times we are in tears,
and there are times that we avert
There are times our minds seem lost,
and there are times that our hearts hurt

There are times that we worry,
and there are times that annoy
There are times of depression,
and there are times we have joy

Its always in these times of despair,
that we often lookup and ask God why
Because we don’t understand His plan,
or have faith, and trust in God to supply

There are times that we don’t know,
or where to turn or what to do
At these moments give your life to Jesus,
and let Him make all things new

Always remember that when we pray,
it’s God who removes all your fears
For when we pour our hearts out to God,
it’s God who wipes away all of our tears

Finally remember when you ask God why,
there’s always a purpose for His plan,
While we may not like or understand it,
it all started before your life began

Amen 🙏🏻

Awesomely beautiful. A good read for anyone slipping in Faith. I, myself, ask God "why" all the time and then have to remind myself of my Granny's teachings, "don't ask why, accept and know that God knows best. There is a reason for everything". When I was a child, that was easy. Being an adult, the questions get more frequent and worrisome. Tomorrow for instance, my twenty month old Grandson, Jaxon, will be having surgery to correct a birth defect. Some may think it is a simple procedure and nothing to worry about. But I've lost one child of my own already and knowing anesthesia is involved and he is so young, I worry. And even if my Faith isn't where it used to be, I still believe and call on God for his mercy.

Your words seem to be here at just the right moment. Thank you. From me to God, from God to you, from you to me. . . .'don't ask why, accept and know that God knows best'.
