Hiding

Stopped coming on this website because i wasn't inspired enough to write new stuff but now i am. I hope you enjoy this new piece of writing.

CHORUS

I will spend my life hiding my heart away,

Because i know that you will leave me one day,

It's inevitable that i always get hurt,

You'd fly me through the clouds and then put me in the dirt,

I can't take the pain no i can't take heartbreak,

So instead of saying i love you, all i can do is fake,

But when my breaths are down to a few,

Those will be breaths i use to say that i love you.

VERSE 1

A lifetime without you is like a year without air,

I always need to see you, i always need you there,

Without you in my life, it's like i'm running on empty,

You're like a drug to me and without you i'm just not healthy,

But i can't tell you how i feel because i can see,

That all you will do is end up hurting me.

My only recommendation to you is to capatilize your i's. At least for me it is distracting when they aren't capatilized.
Overall the piece was well done and flowed nicely :)
