Four Wonderful Seasons

Each season has its own special moments :)

April showers, blooming May flowers

Crisp, fresh air and bright sunshine

Laundry flowing in the gentle breeze

Tress budding with pretty, white blossoms

Spring is here

 

Hot summer days, refreshing lemonade

Ice cold popsicles, while sitting on the sidewalk

Swimming in the local pool, and tanning in the sun

Summer nights with the top rolled down

Cruising the highways till late

 

Leaves are changing into vibrant colors

Red ones, orange ones, and yellow ones too

Cold air arrives and sweatshirts are zipped up

Fields are barren and the sun sets sooner now

Fall is upon us

 

The Christmas season is now arriving,

Santa is out and snowmen too

People are shopping for the perfect gifts

The days get dreary and the snow begins to fall

Winter is coming!

I loved how you used warm and cool colours for each season, it actually made me feel the temperature of everyone.. is that weird? anyhow, i loved it and i completly pictured everyone.

Wow. I loved the natural imagery. Although I don't like winter as much as other seasons, this poem sure reflected the sides of each season that I often overlook. Great write!
