Something Sings

Something Sings

A Poem by David Pitman

Its that sweet feeling when I gaze
upon the cresescent's blue-grey haze

that sings within my soul
songs of glorious praise

Though sometimes I have an alias
and my friends tend to call me Thomas
something sings within my heart
and brings me back to the promise

I won't claim to know--no--
but I will say that I think so
because something sings within my bones
and that is the direction I choose to go.

I like this. Moving and to the point. Short but sincere.
