Heaven

Heaven

A Poem by Dawn McKinney

Angels fly around
Free from guilt
No more pain or suffering
No hurt to be built
Joy fills the place
Safe and secure
Going there someday
Makes me long for it more
A place with no sickness
No tears will be shed
No unhappiness or sorrow
Just joy to be led
Someday I will meet the One
Who gave me life here on Earth
I'll thank Him and praise Him
Once I make it there
