Holy Water

 

Moonbeams dance

On a restless body of water,

Causing the ripples

To appear as halos;

These images

Are neither an illusion

Nor a miracle,

Just nature’s way

Of showing faith

In its creator.

 

Two lovers sit in a boat

Marveling at the mystical sight

Not realizing the meaning of it all,

Yet subconsciously

Giving their approval

By kissing in the midst

Of this magic moment.
