Lesson In Stained glass

Inspired by the pastor's sermon at my church

 

 

If everything has a purpose

Then the windows of the church

Are the almighty example

For that phrase.

 

For when God shines his flashlight

On that glass-stained window

We are enlightened

To the fact that

Even though many live different lives

Different lives

there is beauty in this world

when we live as one.

 

The Church is God’s school,

The pastor is our teacher,

And the glass-stained window is a lesson.

But I say Amen to myself with every person I meet.

There is great beauty is the stained glass windows of churches.and they deserve to be celebrated. Inspirational in the stories they tell but also in the craftsmen who.designef and made them. That lead work is fascinating, as is the cutting and fitting of each separate piece of glass. Thank you Dale.
