Addicted To Chaos

Addicted To Chaos

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

I feel your lips quiver whenever we kiss,

but it slips up if I try to walk away.

Why do you punch me in the heart

then try to hold my hand?

Confusion in my mind

leads to a confession from the soul,

this dysfunction is my addiction

cause I’m an adrenaline junkie

when it comes to us fighting.

It's a roller coaster ride with ups and downs and twists and turns. An adrenaline junkie seeks the upheaval sometimes just to keep it interesting.

thank you very much.
adrenaline junkies come in many forms
this is a great expressive write on a topic that I do not believe I have read before
heated relationships border on needed therapy or this is just how this couple makes it work
apparently it does because they do hold hands*)
great title for this -I really do enjoy the content that you have used-
thank you fine sir

Thank you very much for your input.
Not seen much about miscommunication in relationship on this site this is good but seem incomplete. you could help me and my likes who are keen on knowing the outcome of the addiction and dysfunction with a touch of editing. stay blessed!

That is great. Right on I know the feeling of wanting to fight almost because its exciting as the making up is. Almost.

I can't argue with the plain-spoken narrative. This wins.

This is a very true poem about relationships and miscommunication. I hope that there is some resolve at some point and the addiction is overcome. I'm not sure whether there's a happy ending or a break-up. Nicely penned.

Thank you very much.
makes me believe this is the opposition of me. "she" feels confused, and confusion is definitely a left foot in a tango...thats where understanding and unconditional love comes in. thanks for sending me into a string of thoughts(:

Thank you again :)
Man, I think I used to be like that, but that kind of living just got exhausting. It drains you of your life force. Too much unbridled passion (chaos), kills a man. from the inside/ out.

Good piece, D.
