Much Respect(Madalyn Beck)

Much Respect(Madalyn Beck)

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

This poem is for a friend who I know has gone through so much in her life yet continues to be a positive caring individual with so much compassion in her heart and I want to show my respect.

"

Let me lay it out for you

         You heart has been

                  Used

                  Abused

                  Mistreated

                  Defeated

         Yet it still

                  Beats true

                  Without excuse

I know you’ve been forced

         To do something

                  You didn’t want to do

                  Tore your world through

         But here you stand

                  Taking your confidence back

Instead of being in the black.

Criticized by those

         Who don’t understand

                  Your compassionate style

And a heart big as a mile.

But don’t ever let them

         Get you down

                  You are a fighter

                  And a writer

         most importantly

                  A great human being

                  Seeing is believing

To those who look with an open heart,

                  Like me.

Let me end this poetic note

By signing it,

         Much Respect to Madalyn Beck

Dale, I cannot thank you enough for such a touching write. I am just like every other person, but I can't tell you how much I appreciate you thinking so highly of me. This brought a smile to my face that I do not think will leave for the rest of the day.

Thank you, Dale, to the moon and back!! xo :)
