A Season Of New Beginnings

A Season Of New Beginnings

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

Inspire by someone talking bout how Autumn turning so quickly. I love this season. The picture was taken by me.

"

In the blink of an eye

Green turns to gold

Showering the Earth

With riches

Money can’t buy.

The landscape

Becomes a portrait

Even Ansel Adams

Couldn’t design.

Sun soaked skin

Finds natural relief

From natures cool breath

Like a burning soul

Finding its mate

Written in the stars.

It’s this change of season

That says starting over

Is okay after falling.

The picture is striking, and your words certainly do capture the lovely aspects of fall. Your descriptions make me want to head for a mug of apple cider and piece of pumkin pie!
And, oh how fitting are the last lines in which you remind us that there is hope after defeat!
A wonderful poem!

Introspective and longing, your words confess the beauty and depth of autumn.. my favorite season for sure. There is mystery in it, and you bring it alive for us.. Awesome pic, by the way!

Beautifully evocative- I have always believed that autumn and winter are Nature's reminders to us mere mortals that we also need to take time for reflection and breaks.

I too love autumn and all the brilliant colors...I am sad when all the beautiful leaves begin to fall and leave bear trees everywhere. You paint a glorious picture of fall with your words and capture the very essence of it all. Love your message at the end as well.

I love Autumn!!! You have captured it well with your poetry and photo. The alliteration of 'Sun soaked skin' catches the eye and ear as it makes one almost glad to see the hot summer give way to the cool breath of Fall.

The last 3 lines make this really shine as it reminds us that the seasons of life do change and indeed it is okay to start over after falling....actually not just okay but essential. Great job!

There is so much beautiful imagery throughout this piece. It's like a beautiful portrait captured with the delicacy of words.
