Watch And Learn

Watch And Learn

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

Inspired by a pic Liza posted in her photos :)

"

Trust me…

Watch with admiration,

The seedling as it grows

Without hesitation

Not minding

What the weather is doing,

Just simply sprouting

Into a world already full

Of flowers

Yet knows it has a place

Upon God’s soil.

(Take note: I too was once a seedling.)

Keep our eye on the bulb

So you don’t miss

The meaning

Of her petals opening

To this vast world,

Notice each one

Reaches for the sky

Though her roots

Are grounded.

(Mental note: home and wings can co-exist.)

Oh each flower

Has the same story to tell

Yet each one

Is full of independent inspiration.

The two first words -Trust me...- give these lines even more impact.
This piece is so filled with beauty and grace, as also with a very strong positive vibe giving hope and strength to each and every being. Every being, may that be a plant, an animal or a human, they are all here for a reason and to fulfill their individual mission...
Thanks for these wonderful images and the beautiful inspiration.

Beautiful work, Dale. :) I'm glad to be reading you again. Like flowers, we all inspire something in someone if they care to look. You've inspired me often.

I love how you can relate these flowers to people. That each is unique but all have the goal to grow and live. The imagery is beautiful and this is a splendid poem to enjoy whether for nature or people.

A very passionate piece. I like the way this piece appeals to the senses. The imagery is beautiful, and the beautiful descriptions and detail give such a serene feeling of the land out in the country.

Looking out my window now at the flowers blossoming in my garden... and will look afresh at the mirror... hoping to see more than I did yesterday.. Yes, there is so much hope and inspiration we can harvest if we will just pause.. open our eyes and ears to the songs playing all around us.

nature can be the most inspiring of muses! we are all seedlings i guess - each flower - same story of life/biology - different petals of history and colours! nice!

I like this very much. Gentle piece but with a powerful message, these lines right here...

Into a world already full
Of flowers
Yet knows it has a place

I'm keeping those words with me today. Thank you.

Ooohhh, nice hon! The seedling can indeed grow into whatever it desires and you know what? We all have such splendour to offer if only we think about it....that is beautifully voiced here, wonderful xx

It never ceases to amaze me how a writer can come up with the same story told and still bring inspiration through originality. Lovely write! The flowers tell more of human life than one may think.

We can all grow and be who we are as individuals despite what surrounds us. A lovely, highly meaningful piece.
