ah, to me sleep means to dull the senses and completely feel at ease without the thought of what we lay on will draw our pain out. I like the analogy of whether it is a bed of roses or nails, because though one is more visually appealing and seemingly passionate - the rose will draw blood if not handled with care. and Nails...well - you're just nailed lol

Well said, but to me the pain is different, perhaps, the roses hurt more, given in love or lust, and yet, not carefully, or protectively, I would prefer the honesty of nails. smile
