Women: A Blackout Poem of "Painted Devils" by Fred Chappell

A Poem by Dean
"

a blackout poem

"
Women, devils, b******s.
they are the fire we breathe.
they fell silent after a while.
we march,
we drink blood.
Rosalie pulled the trigger.
red.
the chamber was a Woman;
they told me so.
