A battle between your heart and mind

It's a short story I wrote about a girl torn between her heart and her mind.

As I stand at this crossroad I have to decide. Will I choose the path my heart longs for or do I choose the path my head thinks is the best way. One way will give me life with the man I do not love but I will live a nice peaceful life. The other place could be the death of me but I would be with the one I love. After a moments hesitation I choose my path. I choose the one that could be the death of me. I chose it because I would rather die with the one I love than to never know what love is.
