![]() O AgincourtA Poem by 5th Warrior![]() This poem is a depiction of the battle that took place between the english and the french forces in 14th century.![]() O The swords are drawing near, the horses galloping to the music of war, Knights are cleaning the swords and Bowmen sharpening their arrows, For their will be a war, A war for glory, A war for victory. O Agincourt, tomorrow you will drink blood, tomorrow you will be bed for many, O Agincourt see through your eyes since this is the last time you will see them. As the murky earth sees the dull light of morning, The English and French take their positions in the field. Their flags fluttering in the winds like sails in a storm, For his is the battle of Lion and Azure. There rides a lion among the men King Harry, He searches for the glory in the fields of He charges up his men in the clouds of war, “Let us fight like lions today, let us stand for each of us Let this day writes a new chapter for From this day let it be known as St. Crispin day, Rise men for this is the time, this is the only time Which makes us man; take this moment as your hour of glory!!” His men roar like thousands of lions roaring to kill their hunt. On the other side stands the proud French, Charles d’Albert the constable of He looks upon the English as mere rats waiting to be killed, For he has all the nobility of There goes the trumpet of war and the French charge like wildfire, Neighs of horses and clanging of swords filled the air, O French blood flowed in the battle like a unstoppable blue river, Hailstorm of arrows covered the skies, men fall like dominoes Thousands of knights died, many princely head rolled in dust, King Harry the Lion pushes his man for the final blow, Charles lies dead on the field with his pride beside him. O Agincourt, mother earth drank royal blood which soaked her fields, Eight thousand French nobles and princes laid their lives, Whole genre warriors perished in the war. O Agincourt, did u hear the roar of English Did you see the valor and death of Edward of York? Did you feel the sorrow & shame of Charles d’Albert? Did you feel the glory of King Harry?
