A.M Syndrome

The law of value speaks thus;
"Whom-ever you appreciate and constantly "plate"(see footnote) will stay with you and be for you, but when you cease to appreciate them, they turn round and go away"
My Father set out and married his wife.
He brought her home and used his knife
To cut what attached him to women out there.
He then knew her,she brought me forth, I didn't sear
Her womb nor cause pain. Still young I came in contact with the law of value.
I grew up and met the other fold
And the law of value didn't seem to hold
There was a tiny virus
Which I named the "A.M syndrome"
That caused a deficiency in recognition ability of people
That they didn't know who truly valued them.
They'll think they see clearly
But that's just the "A.M syndrome".
If they truly did see,
The law of value would work right.
Thus, when you appreciate them
And go further to "plate" them
They turn from you and go away.
So doing the syndrome reduced
The efficiency of 'the law's working'
And if you appreciate them they just won't be for you.
I named the virus,
But Check yourself
Have you been infected?
Or is it coming your way?


Footnote. *plate- praise, speak kind words concerning a person.

Very interesting and thought provoking write! The diction makes this piece feel as though I'm having a conversation with the writer in a pleasantly intimate but open way. That's deep buddy , Yes I seen it its not a great thing to have!
