![]() If I Were Not MeA Poem by demuremindsIf I were not me trapped in a life so aimless, I’d roam the world as it should be. I’d feel the natural air sailing through my fingertips. I’d feel my rapid heartbeats, thrusting like rifts. If I were not me living in a life made like carousels, I’d change my life’s routine. I’d see the world, you see? If I were not me bombarded with responsibility, I’d run so far away, indefinitely, to distant towns ever so quickly, sprinting, so I’d never be found. If I were not me I’d undot my I’s and I’d uncross my t’s; Because If I were not me Things would’ve unfolded differently. © 2012 demuremindsReviews
